GOBELINS International Summer school in Paris
Characterisation : animating Paris
From July 3rd to July 18th 2014
France has had a great deal of experience in the art of animation, having played an instrumental role in its invention: Emile Reynaud (in 1892) and Emile Cohl (in 1908) were important pioneers in animation filmmaking.
Continuing this legacy, GOBELINS, l’école de l’image, based in Paris, has been for more than thirty-five years the privileged partner of animation artists and studios, even beyond the French borders, thanks to a learning programme preparing young artists for all the professions involved in animation filmmaking.
Today GOBELINS organises its International Summer School in Paris devoted to a course about animation film making. The 2014 programme will focus on character animation.
